Can You Donate Dreadlocks to Locks of Love?
Some organizations may not accept colored/bleached, permed, dreadlocked, or grey hair. So if you’re shaving your head, split it into several ponytails before cutting it off for donation. According to Locks of Love, dreadlocks, wigs, hairpieces, hair extensions, and synthetic hair cannot be given.
Dreadlocks are not permitted to be utilized in their children’s hairpieces. Combining isolated strands of hair is part of the procedure for blending hair donations. To separate these individual hairs, all hair must be brushed.
Do Locks of Love Accept Beard Hair?
